I think I´ll settle down
I´m getting tired of all this running ´round.
My body says it time
It´s time I find myself a quiet life.

But I step outside like a newborn child, & I wanna play.
Oh I´ve tried to be good and I wish that I could.
But sometimes it don´t work that way.

All I keep thinking about is ‘what I´ll be missing´
I turn around when I hear a new sound, I can´t Settle Down.

It´s time to take account
Assess my assets, maybe go without.
Tighten up the strings.
Look for pleasure in the simple things.

So I close my eyes but it gets inside, no matter what I do.
Oh your touch feels right but please don´t tell my wife
Lets keep this just between me & you.
