Just one look at you, and then I knew
on that day
serendipity smiled down on me.

Time flew by swiftly. Life was filled with dance and song,
but it wasn´t long before I learned
on that day
you don´t get to call the shots that way.

I still think about the possibility of love.
I see reflections of that moment now,
from that day:
just a fleeting glimpse that will not stay.
