There´s so many things I haven´t seen yet
I sit and analyze the world on my swing set
i see that there´s people filled with hate
but I can´t hold on to the darkness at day break
everyday i see the sun rise the same way
and everyday i see the clouds make funny shapes
some people seem ready to leave before they came
like they forgot the reasons why we sing in the rain

i know if you play hard your clothes get stained

it´s always easy to find your way

here´s a question - why do we stop dreaming?
why would we grow up to believe in not believing?
why would i give up - or ever wanna stop this
when i know together there´s nothing we can´t accomplish
you´ve got a reason to live filled with purpose
loosin hope and giving up´s something that only hurts us
let your light be one that others can see
as you grow into the person you were created to be
